The East Texas State Normal College was originally devoted to the education of future teachers. Today it is part of the Texas A & M University System.

This postcard was never used, and this has no postmark as a clue to its age. However, according to Mashburn's The Postcard Price Guide, A Comprehensive Reference, this Divided back Era postcard was printed between 1907 & 1915.  It was published by BACHMAN & PICKETT of Commerce, Texas.
