This postcard was sent to Mrs. J. H. NEAL of Meridian, Mississippi. Unfortunately, I cannot read the signature of the sender, because the message is written in a very light pencil. The sender wrote:
We will leave Jackson Saturday afternoon, get to your place about 6. I wish we could stay longer with you. Taylor will have to go to work Mon. We both have such...
And that's all I could read!
It was postmarked at Monticello on September 6, 1932. The name of the publisher too faded to read.

the Linen Era postcards were produced between 1930-1945. The paper has a linen-like texture, which gives this type of card a distinctive appearance.
