Jeptha Tackett Allen was the son of Sudie Tackett and Edmund Lilly Allen, II. Born January 21, 1892, he died January 6, 1918 at Camp Travis in San Antonio, Texas, probably the victim of the infamous Spanish Flu epidemic that killed more soldiers than the enemy fire of WWI.
