This lovely linen postcard was published by the Louisiana News Company, and features a vividly colored view of Canal Street in New Orleans.

 The text on the back reads "Canal Street, one of the widest, most beautiful and best lighted streets in the world, is the center of all activities in New Orleans."

The card was never used. It was probably just saved as a memento from someone's special New Orleans trip.
