Bacon & Lettuce Sandwiches

The Rains County Leader

Emory, Rains County, Texas

May 9, 1913

Cut crust from thin slices of bread, toast on one side only and keep warm. Fry thin slices of bacon until crisp. Now butter the soft side of the bread, lay a lettuce leaf and a few slices of the bacon between and cut into triangles.
